ENCC Online Conference: Members’ Forum
On 27 November 2024, the European Network of Cultural Centers created an online space for all ENCC members to meet, learn and discuss crucial topics for the network, and the socio-cultural sector in general.
The Members’ Forum was an occasion to learn about past and upcoming activities of ENCC. Most of the meeting was dedicated to sessions highlighting a practice, a programme or a cultural center whose learnings fall under 4 key thematics and action lines of ENCC.
Session 1 was dedicated to inclusion, where an innovative cultural center presented its hybrid programming, and how this particularity allows for the inclusion of a diverse audience. Session 2 covered issues and practices of network creation, building on the release of the book “How to network and why”, by the Balkan Network Kooperativa. Session 3 focused on the relationships between local authorities and the cultural sector. Session 4 shared recommendations on sustainability with the presentation of two tools: a sustainability self-assessment tool and ENCC’s travel guidelines.
The Budapest Cultural Center was represented by international cultural referent Krisztián Bakó.
