Portuguese Exchange Student and Teacher Visits at BCC
Guests from a small Portuguese town, Juncal, arrived at the Budapest Cultural Center on March 6 and 20, 2025. The purpose of their visit was to learn about the responsibilities and working conditions of their student completing his internship at our institution.
Besides sightseeing in Budapest, the teachers of the primary and secondary school called Instituto Educativo do Juncal (IEJ) visited their students’ internship locations. The BCC hosted one student, who spent seven weeks at our institution from the beginning of February. He primarily participated in tasks related to building international cultural relations.
At the end of the internship program on March 20, 2025, one of the teachers from the Portuguese school revisited our institution. The Budapest Cultural Centre intends to work closely with its partners, thereby strengthening its international cultural relations and recognizing that the meeting of languages and cultures is a common European value.
The student program was supported by Erasmus+ and was implemented in collaboration with the Budapest-based partner agency 1CEBA.
