BCC’s V4 Film Project Ends
The international film project entitled "The Art of Being Elderly: Documenting the Creative Life of Seniors in Mikulov", supported by the Visegrad Fund's V4 Gen Mini Grants programme, was implemented under the coordination of the Budapest Cultural Centre.
During the period from 1 to 7 June, not only were short films created, but new friendships, shared experiences, and lasting memories were formed as well. Participants from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary worked together, learned from one another, and jointly produced creative works that preserve the memories of this special week.
As a fitting conclusion to our project, our films were screened at the cinema in Mikulov, followed by a reception. It was a final opportunity to celebrate our joint efforts, recall the most memorable moments of the week, and say goodbye to one another.
We would like to express our special thanks to the leadership of the City of Mikulov for their support, to Mikulovská kulturní for providing the venue for our programmes throughout the entire duration of the project, and to Mestské kultúrne stredisko Štúrovo for their partnership and cooperation. The Budapest Cultural Centre team was responsible for the comprehensive organisation, coordination, and successful implementation of the project.
We would also like to thank the members of the Czech senior clubs who actively contributed to the project for their sincere support, openness, and the many shared experiences. Although the project has come to an end, the experiences, connections, and memories will remain with us for a long time to come.
